Free Live TV Channels on PC

For an internet user, watching favorite television program or sports event live online is nowadays not difficult. I am simply trying to list the most popular 'working' programs/ applications for viewing live television channels on your PC.

SopCast

First and the foremost Streaming media application is SopCast which works on P2P technology, is developed by FuDan university, China. Download SopCast player from the link below and signin to watch 100's of international channels and live sports like Cricket, Football and Rugby.

TVU Player

TVU Player is a free downloadable windows application from TVU Networks. The TVU service, accessed via its free TVUPlayer application, has been downloaded 12 million times by viewers in over 200 countries. TVU uses a new broadcast technology called Real-Time Packet Replication. Download TVU player here:

Livestation

The Livestation player offers the highest quality viewing and listening experience over broadband. TVAnts

TVAnts is also a Peer-to-Peer steaming application, developed by Zhejiang University students in China. Connection speed is pretty good and have plenty of channels.

Joost

Joost is a Peer-to-Peer TV transmitting application developed by the founders of Skype. Joost is popular for recorded television programs and it is still in beta stage.
