TVU Player is a free downloadable windows application from TVU Networks. The TVU service, accessed via its free TVUPlayer application, has been downloaded 12 million times by viewers in over 200 countries. Joost is a Peer-to-Peer TV transmitting application developed by the founders of Skype. Joost is popular for recorded television programs and it is still in beta stage.
